Lingenfelter Chevy Reaper is ready to make Ford's Raptor go extinct [w/video] - Autoblog

The Reaper's suspension sports Fox Racing shocks and lifts the truck three inches, providing an increase in both ground clearance and suspension travel. The truck rides on 20-inch wheels that are wrapped in General Grabber tires, while both the 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter V8s benefit from a Lingenfelter exhaust. A Magnuson TSV1900 supercharger is an optional goodie on both engines, as are 17-inch beadlock wheels.

Lingerfelter is one of my favorite tuning houses of all time. John L., (RIP) really could get the most out of those cars.

I want to hear details on it before I completely bury it, but it looks like someone tried to jump the creek and came up a few feet short.

...and squared wheel arches. yeesh.

I get why they're doing it, but I think they would be much better served going with the Cheyenne concept.

They discontinued it. ....I wanted to buy one till I discovered they wanted 38k for it.

Yeah that thing was a nutty value when there were rumours of it going for $26,000. At $38,000, give a really well dressed Mustang 5.0. The mustang would actually give you more functionality.

I think the new f150 trucks are fugly. That reaper front end is rough. But the Cheyenne i like. Would buy if it had extended cab. But prob be like 10k more expensive for visual stuff and engine mods. Ridiculous

Chevy can't make a truck. Sorry don't like it.

Exactly.

Their diesels are built by Isuzu, trannys are built by Allison. The only thing Chevy about a Chevy is the poor electronics and the bodies.

Hard for me to say a bad thing about Chevy trucks. Mine has gotten me out of some **** situations. It's especially rewarding passing all those full sized trucks ditched on the side of the road in snow.

Dummy's don't realize that 4x4 will get you going in the snow and ice. It won't however help you stop any better.

What the hell were they thinking with that? :disappointed:
