ACC: Ga Tech over Clemson
SEC: Auburn over Tennessee
B1G: Ohio State over Wisconsin
Big 12: TCU
Pac 12: UCLA over Oregon

Playoffs:
1. undefeated Ohio State
2. undefeated TCU
3. 1-loss Auburn
4. 1-loss UCLA

I'm tempted to sneak Ga Tech into the playoff as a dark horse but they'll slip up at least once with ND, FSU, Clemson, Va Tech, and UGA all on the schedule. Plus a 1-loss Pac12 champ probably gets in over a 1-loss ACC champ.

Other predictions:
Harbaugh gets Michigan to at least 9 wins
Bama - at least 2 losses
FSU - at least 3 losses
Florida - at least 5 losses

I think Michigan State goes 12-1 beating Oregon but losing to Ohio State. Will be an interesting discussion is Oregon wins PAC 12.

I actually have GA Tech in my four. They are the best team in the acc.

1) Ohio state
2)TCU
3)GA Tech
4) Arizona

I think either Bama or Auburn wins the SEC, and the other gets in the playoff with one loss. I don't think anyone from the Pac 12 finishes with less than 2 losses, and the ACC champ won't get in unless they are undefeated.

I think the SEC gets left out, not sure there's a dominant team in the SEC and I think this year it eats it's own

You missed the parts where Tennessee then wins the Super Bowl against the NFL All-Stars, goes back in time to 1972 to beat the Miami Dolphins in a pickup game, and then wins the World Cup held after.

If you listen to B1G fans its Big 10 favorite Ohio State #1 and no one else. Even though they have the easiest schedule of the power 5 conferences and should cake walk their way into the playoffs, my guess is they stump their B1G toe on a twig and fail.

Like almost any preseason favorite that starts off a season ranked #1?

I'll go with:
a team from the SEC (Tough call, I'll go with LSU)
a team from the PAC-12 (if not Oregon, ASU)
Michigan State (Ohio State close but not this year)
Ga Tech

TCU and Baylor get left out due to SOS

1. Ohio State
2. TCU
3. Auburn
4. LSU
TCU over LSU in NC, I feel TCU is going to wreck the Big 12 this year

I'd really be shocked if a 1 loss TCU or Baylor gets left out again this year.

You do have a good point, but I think that might imply a "politically correct" kind of selection.

First, a one loss SEC and PAC-12 team gets in due to SOS
Second, a one loss Mich St or Ohio St. gets in
That brings it down to a one loss ACC team over a one loss Big 12 team.

I'm just not sure the ACC gets left out given the softness of the Big 12 schedules
