How you gonna leave off the #2 guy Stephen Zimmerman? We have a better shot with him than anyone else in the top 10.

I doubt we get Zimmerman, but I do honestly think we will stay on him like we did with Lyle, and will likely be in his top 4 or 5. However, unless we just have an awesome year this year, I would expect to finish as the bridesmaid for Zimmerman, much like we did with Lyle.

Makes you wonder if UT will ever get another top player out of Memphis. CCM I'm sure is being visible in the Bluff City, but there is far too much talent escaping from that City for UT not to have but one player from there since JP Prince. Pearl put a lot of investment there with minimal to no return. A good buddy of mine that lives there told me that several folk believe this might be CCM's last year if this team doesn't make significant noise during the season and getting a NCAA birth. Don't agree it would be his last year, but if he doesn't pull a marque player into this recruiting class his seat will be hot. Someone posted that your recruiting class should be either equally or better than those leaving out. That I can agree with.

My bad. I was in a hurry and just searched for TN prospects. Any other names of note BTO?

I don't think if he makes the dance but doesn't pull a 5* his seat will be hot...I strongly disagree with that.

As for Memphis, as long as Pastner is there it will be an uphill battle for the type of guys Martin wants. There's a second tier of guys (i.e Hymon, Roby) that Memphis doesn't pursue who Tennessee could likely pull if they really tried. However, Martin has seemed to cool a bit on the infatuation with Memphis which may be a good thing. Utilize Georgia as they put out more top prospects as a state than Memphis does typically, and they don't have one school that typically steals them all. Pearl was great at this, and Martin seems to be getting the hang of it...moore, Davis and Cofer all in the last couple years.

Jaylen Brown and Daniel Giddens we have been recruiting since Martin got here, I believe both have visited at least once if not more.

I assume we will be on Hicks, or already have, seeing as how he's not "from" Memphis.
