This annual event marks the beginning of the Tennessee soccer season as the players and coaches engage the best fanbase in the country and provide a 2015 preview for the Big Orange nation. UT will have 10 regular season home matches this year. After a road exhibition against Clemson on Aug. 10, the Volunteers kick off the season against Lipscomb on Aug. 21 at Regal Soccer Stadium.

Admission is free of charge for the Meet & Greet as well as all 2015 Tennessee soccer regular-season matches.

Regal Soccer Stadium will open its gates at 4:30 p.m. and fans may head to the team's film room to view recent video features about Tennessee soccer.

The Meet & Greet begins at 5 p.m. in the film room as UT head coach Brian Pensky, who is in his fourth season leading the program, addresses the fans and introduces the players, coaches and staff. Fans can get autographs from their favorite Volunteers from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. outside on the stadium's main concourse.

At 7 p.m., the Tennessee soccer team will play the Orange & White game, giving fans their first look at the 2015 squad in action. Concessions will open at 6 p.m.

SOCCER WELCOMES FANS AT 2015 MEET & GREET

Hundreds of soccer fans were at Regal Soccer Stadium on Friday to meet the 2015 team

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee soccer team welcomed hundreds of fans to Regal Soccer Stadium on Friday for the fourth-annual Meet & Greet.

After head coach Brian Pensky, who enters his fourth season at Tennessee, introduced the all 28 players on the 2015 roster to fans in the video room, the Volunteers signed autographs and interacted with fans of all ages eager for the start of the season.

"It's a win for everybody," Pensky said. "It's another chance for our players to be leaders in the community and start to develop relationships with little girls that they were five, six, 10 years ago. We have a 17-year-old on our team. Five years ago, she might have been asking for autographs from some college player. It's an awesome opportunity for our players to get out and connect with these young kids who look up to our players."

Later in the evening, the team split up into two squads for the Orange & White scrimmage, which ended in a 1-1 draw after Hannah Wilkinson scored an early goal for the Orange and Anna McClung scored later for the White.

"Hopefully it's the start of what will be a special fall with these families and these kids coming out to support our players all season long," Pensky said.

The 2015 Tennessee soccer team returns 18 players from last season, including nine starters and 2012 NSCAA All-American Wilkinson. UT also welcomes 10 exciting newcomers (No. 4 signing class in the nation).

Tennessee plays an exhibition match on the road against Clemson on Monday at 5:30 p.m. ET. UT opens the season with a home weekend two weeks from now, hosting Lipscomb on Aug. 21 and Georgia Southern on Aug. 23 at Regal Stadium. Admission is free to all Tennessee soccer regular-season home contests.
