2018 recruiting class is where cbj earns his dough. If he gets his fair share in this class he can coach at the same level he has been and reel off a couple of 10-2 or better years in 2018 19 and 20.

These crack me up. 4.4 and not a high 4.4
Well the difference in a 4.4 and 4.49, which is as high of a 4.4 as you can go is about a foot or less in the 40. Just doesn't make that much of a difference.

Then you could argue since he has run 4.39 he is a 4.3 40 right? You are right it is about a foot foot and a half. But that is the difference in tackle and miss by a foot foot and a half. right.

Someone asked me a couple of weeks ago if he was legit 4.3

To me 4.3 is world class speed. I couldn't tell you if he runs a 4.3 or a 4.4 or a 4 anything.

I can tell you he's the fastest guy on the field on Friday night every Friday and it's not even close. He's faster in person than his films show to me. He possesses a gear that no one on the field has and when he hits it HE GONE.

With that being said... he's been clocked in multiple places (including UT) at 4.39. I know Hand times and all but dang he's fast.

Yes but that foot is in 40 yards. 95% of the tackles are made in the first five yards. Your looking at hundredths if an inch difference there. It really makes no difference.

Also some backs have a quick burst then don't have elite top end speed.
I would rather have a back who would be the one who in a 40 yard race had a step or two on everyone in the first ten yards but maybe get caught at the end. Then initial burst helps more in football than elite top end speed.
