Alabama has 3 of the top 10 weak side ends, and another 2 of the top 10 strong side ends. Maybe, just maybe, coach Pruitt needs to bring a couple of those guys to Knoxville.

But but Alabama has a disproportionate amount of defense end talent. They should just give us a couple of theirs. Florida has 4 safety commits - I am thinking they give us one or two / see what Georgia and Ohio State have too much of. Who knew it could be this easy.

Why would they leave a championship program and coach who routinely has 6 or 7 guys picked in the first 2 rounds of the draft for an unproven head coach at a program with a revolving door at the football offices? Does that sound like a good business plan for guys with NFL aspirations?

Despite the typical a-holish responses mocking anyone who starts a thread, that is an interesting thought for graduated transfers.

In the old days it would be ridiculous, but the newer rules that allow grads to transfer and play immediately make it something worth pursuing. If those guys graduate early and want to spend a season as a starter for playing time and scouting potential, following their old DC to Knoxville would make a lot of sense.

ETA recruits flipping to us could happen as well, so far Pruitt has already surprised me. Players want playing time.

I thought we couldn't take any grad transfers. That's why we didn't get Wallace

Ok, so if I'm hearing some of you guys correctly our new HC, who happened to be the DC at Alabama when these five guys were recruited, shouldn't make an effort to convince ANY of these guys to follow him to UT..... Got it.

All I am saying is its highly unlikely they flip. But I certainly do hope the new staff tries to get them. All they can do is say no.

Saban is unlikely to be at Bama still by the time a lot of these freshmen graduate. Is Bama still Bama without Saban? They'll still be very good and very talented but can the new coach continue that trend. Pruitt has been successful as a coordinator at three top shelf programs. There's a lot of angles we can sell to new recruits
