Is there a movement at N'western to gin up support to get rid of him? If so, they're absolute idiots.

In 14 years, they are basically .500 (56-58) in Big Ten play. At that school, that's incredible. It's at least as academically restrictive as Vanderbilt.

On Chris Childers and Neuhaisel’s show they were saying that there were rumblings and that is was ridiculous . It is ridiculous, but I’m sure people are frustrated with the fact that NU has only scored 3 touchdowns in the last 4 weeks.

Maryland and Minnesota's fall from grace make more sense though given the demographic shifts in the country. Ole Miss's is a little more curious.

A lot of Ole Miss's fall from being a powerhouse in the late 1960s-early 1970s had to do with the integration of college football. Ole Miss first black football player was DT Ben Williams in 1972. Ben Williams played from 1976-1985 for the Buffalo Bills.

So much of this is knee jerk reaction crap. Scott Frost just signed an extension over the weekend, he is in no jeopardy.
Dana Holgerson is in his first year, he's not going to get fired.
Pat Fitzgerald is to Northwestern like nick Saban is to Alabama. A few knuckleheads may be disappointed in this season, but he's not getting fired there, ever.

I'm not surprised that Mason is returning to Vandy, he has still managed to exceed expectations for the school and runs a clean program. Plus he's beaten Tennessee three years in a row, what more can Vandy want?

It sucks that the offense couldn't buy a first down in the second half to rest the D but it happened. Rhule should never have hired his college roommate as OC IMO.

I'm pretty much over it. The CFP Committee only dropped us one spot and we can still win conference by beating OU in the championship game. Sitting pretty good for year three of a major rebuild.
