2019 Hot Seat

Wonderful seeing that Pruitt is finally off the Top 30 list.
And even better is seeing that coach from the other UT #1 on the list.

Coaches Hot Seat 2019
Dino Babers is safe at Cuse for awhile. The AD and administration love him. They even gave him major input in the remodeling of the Dome.

The Texas fanbase has REALLY done a 180 on Tom Herman this year...A good majority want him gone, and that's surprising.
Pretty sure his entire staff is going to get house-cleaned.

Something happened to them after the Oklahoma game. Their losses to that point were close games against really good teams (LSU and Oklahoma)...frustrating to be sure, but not performances to be embarrassed about. Since then, they've scraped by Kansas and Kansas St and lost every other game. Defense has been bad at times, offense has been bad at times...it isn't limited to any one thing.

Don't know if it helps or hurts Odom but evidently NCAA finally decided to deny their bowl ban appeal. Thought they'd wait to see if Mizz even won enough to be bowl eligible but still pretty funny they did it right before the deciding game, this is Arky's time to get that elusive P5 win.

That's a classic case of a non-traditional power getting zero benefit of the doubt. That investigation and penalty came out of nowhere...the violation was announced, penalty handed down, appeal denied, boom. All done very quickly.

If that's a big time program's tutor writing papers for people, then the school receives notice, the investigation is slow-played, then the penalties come down and the appeal is slow-played, and when you get down to it they probably are allowed to self-impose some modest penalty or something like that. All of that seemed to go down very quickly for Mizzou, and the penalties seemed harsh relative to what they did.
