USC 'leaning toward' retaining Clay Helton as football coach for 2020 season, per report

If they can't get Meyer or Stoops (Bob), probably not a horrible idea.

I know probation and whatnot, but it's still strange to see SC' as just another average to slightly above average program.

Don't know if it helps or hurts Odom but evidently NCAA finally decided to deny their bowl ban appeal. Thought they'd wait to see if Mizz even won enough to be bowl eligible but still pretty funny they did it right before the deciding game, this is Arky's time to get that elusive P5 win.

A lot of people would, it's a multi million dollar paying job. A P5 job is a dream job for many coaches, the notion that nobody would take these jobs is pretty crazy.

Nobody good is going to take that job. It’s hard to recruit their to begin with. Now they have less scholarships.
