I was on a jury that found the defendant not guilty and man o man did we get a lecture from the prosecutor about how wrong we were. That SOB would have never wanted me on another jury with him as the prosecutor because I don't care who it was they would be found not guilty. And people wonder why I have a bad attitude towards the police?Ever been on a jury when the prosecution had a major fail? I have. The defense didn't even call a witness - beat the prosecution like a drum. I'd say that courts go on wild allegations all the time - the difference is that cops and prosecutors actually have the authority to get to evidence and proof of wrongdoing unlike those attempting to show there was election fraud where the evidence is "owned" by he state.
