Voting for Horn does not hurt recruiting ... a vote for Tony V. gives the UT program ... undesirable advantages if you are recruiting against them. Who is with me ... I want to see the vote numbers ... not just one name!!!

Every now and then people (and especially the SEC office) just rub me the wrong way ... when there is a lack of transparency.

Vitelllo not being coach of the year is ridiculous.

Most years he would be a lock but Arkansas did something pretty unprecedented that’s only been done one other time in the history of the conference, much like Kentucky’s 18-0 basketball season. Most forget that Arkansas was only picked 3rd in the West preseason.

What you guys did was incredibly impressive, and Van Horn was great as usual. I just look at what coach V did with a long dormant program.

Agreed on both fronts. IF we had won the Arkansas series and DVH goes 9-1 and TV goes 9-1 I can only imagine and surely hope that would’ve tipped the scales. I look at it from the standpoint that Arkansas was a preseason top 10 team in most polls and of course moved up but expectations were already there. TV took a top 20-25 preseason team to a top 5 team. Based on national preseason polls Arkansas went from 4-5th in the league to 1st. UT went from a consensus #8 to 2nd.
