Rules:
Pick a foursome - one golfer from each group (A, B, C, D). Scoring is best ball by hole in each round. Lowest 4 round score wins. Team must be posted prior to the first tee time.

Tie Breaker #1 - Final round score of the winner.

Tie Breaker #2 - Total four round score of the winner.

FYI - Please check your lineup to see they are scheduled to play.

I'll try to update the standings each night. I've done my best to group the golfers using the World Golf Rankings. The golfers are ordered by their current rankings.

Some new format stuff:

I think I can get in 30 tournaments before the PGA playoffs start. So, I will do 3 - 10 (+/- 1) tournament segments. Each segment will start at 0 points with the winner receiving bonus points for the playoffs. The 4th segment will be the 3 tournaments during the PGA playoffs and will determine the champion for the season. I need to spend time thinking about how many bonus points you get for winning one of the 3 segments still.

Scoring will be the same by tournament except I will award 5 bonus points for winning the tourney. Scoring has always been based on the number of entrants, so if 18 are in:
  • Winner - 18 points + 5 bonus for winning - 23 points
  • 2nd - 17 pts
  • 3rd - 16 pts etc, etc, etc
  • Position ties will be averaged (tie for 4th and 5th would 15+14/2 or 14.5 pts)
More to come.

Good plan if it prevents those that fall behind from opting to drop out of the competition entirely. Also good if it opens the door to add more players throughout the season.
