Not that it's anything new in and of itself. However, I believe and hope the game theme held by the team and Vols fans is enthusiastically embraced and made a reality every game. The theme? Side Note: I'd love to see the coaches incorporate judo and wrestling for OL and DL to enhance blocking and shedding blocks. Back in the 1970s, I think, an NFL player did this. I wish I could recall who it was, but he became rather proficient in his position as a result. I think he claimed it helped with hand placement and grappling. Trying to remember if it was a Dolphin or Steeler player. Maybe someone else, but I recall reading about the guy.

Do professional teams have themes?
Sounds kinda high schoolish to me.
Is Hornblower coming back to administer this theme?
Sounds like his work.

Do you mean like "We are Family"? or something like that?
Those are a joke, unless you win a championship, then it is a legend.
Better to only have one of those at the end of the season, not the beginning.

The translation of judo technique to shedding blocks and administering blocks seems sound.

... they have never thrown themselves into the mental position of those who think differently from them, and considered what such persons may have to say...
Everyone is kneaded out of the same dough but not baked in the same oven.

I just hope it works out better than "Unfinished Business."
