Curious to see if VN really thinks CJH and crew are going to drop off that much bc of Milton.

IMO, he is no Hooker, but I expect top 5 O and Milton will be a top 3 SEC qb statistics wise. He had a good year other than a mediocre Vandy game, but EOD Heupel produces great offenses and all the other pieces will be there

Need for Bru and Warren to come back and maybe a O lineman or 2 from the portal and maybe another TE.

I feel that our offense takes a step back next year because Joe is QB1, BUT I feel the defense takes a step forward and balances it out Vols are 9-3 in the regular season.

I'm almost always for the experience. But honestly, if our staff does not get JM a shrink or administer pre.game cannibas, then I'm leaning to the Freshman. After all the opportunities for JM to put air under a deep ball and relax to throw it, he simply cannot do it.
Fix that part of his game, and I'm in on him all day. But those strikes are a huge part of our offense.

you know I would like to think Nico could come in and take over the QB1 job but for a freshman to come in and become QB#1 would be an amazing accomplishment.
I agree that it would, and hopefully he doesn't have to. I've never understand our fans concerning freshman QBs though, myself included at times. We're guilty of proclaiming how they can't do it, but there's been many that have, even in the SEC. I just don't understand why it can work at other schools, but not us. Nothing against your comment, I just saw it mentioned somewhere earlier, and was reminded 🤣.

Maybe some saltpeter would work.

6-15.. I have some concerns with QB play, Oline, i think they'll be fine at WR, RB and TE.. Defense needs to be better or someone probably doesn't make it through the year employed.
