Big ALL VOL and living in Texas has been pretty decent as I spread the true "orange gospel." Wanting to be at Tennessee's Media Day and everything else on Tuesday the 16th. But, have no idea what time Coach H or the players will be speaking or anything else regarding times. Can anyone help me with this, please?

Tennessee’s day in the spotlight will be Tuesday afternoon, July 16. As the ‘made for television’ showcase SEC Media Days has turned into, the Vols will share the afternoon session with Oklahoma while Georgia and Missouri will occupy the first two slots of the day.

It will be interesting to see how much longer this conference media days event will last when all 16 teams can just be interviewed by their local newspaper and radio beat reporters.

My next question is what message is he sending and what is he doing to be under the radar?
I think we get perceived as being a finesse team w/ not really good defense. To me, bringing the players he did means he's sending a message that he's prioritizing getting TN back to being more physical and dominant in the trenches and showing evidence we're getting there. We and everyone most always brings at least one of their flash players... I'd have thought Bru would have been the choice before Keenan...though Pearse Jr omission is curious...but maybe he's doing to prioritize senior leadership on the team? But that's just my take on it.

I can't wait to see and hear the reasons Drinkwitz gives us to dislike him some more. I will enjoy thinking less about his smack for a season.

Which coaches do you think will be the most interesting/funny at media days?
Id go with Kiffin, Freeze, and Sark.

which coach will be the biggest nerd/dork?
Has to be either Drink or Beamer, right?

Picked up my Football Time in Tennessee 2024 edition the other day and done with the skim through it. Now I'm into the in depth read and wow! We have made a lot of additions and subtractions in terms of players. Looks really good to me. Can't wait for the daily practice videos and analysis from so many of you who know the jimmy's and joe's, X and Os, better than I do. Go Vols and big thank you to Football Time in Tennessee for the best throne reading material in America. Gonna be a football season to remember for success after a Championship Baseball Season...GBO/VFL/VOLS#1

Drinkin' the Misery Kool-Aid.
Just amazing to me that such a complete dork can lead a group of 100 grown men. I wouldn’t follow the guy to the cafeteria much less into a demanding fall camp or a season defining football game. Congrats to him I guess.

May be the only time I've posted anything by Nick

"They're a good team. He does a really good job," Saban told WATE's Reece Van Haaften. "That offense that they run, with the spread-out folks and fast pace, is still something that is difficult to prepare for. They improved defensively probably each year, so the total roster continues to get better. And I think they're going to be very competitive again this year."

The SEC will release its football preseason poll later this week upon the conclusion of 2024 SEC Media Days in Dallas, but 247Sports got a jump on the conference by releasing its own preseason predicted order of finish on Monday.

Georgia 1st, Texas 2nd, Bama & Ole Miss tied 3rd, Vols 5th, Missouri 6th, LSU 7th, Oklahoma 8th, Texas A&M 9th, Barn 10th, Kentucky 11th, Florida 12th, South Carolina 13th, Arkansas 14th, Mississippi State 15th and of course last once again Vanderbilt

"You don’t want to lose anybody in your program that you’ve recruited, but there are times within your program you present what the situation is and if it’s not agreeable to both sides you have to move on,” Kelly said. “We wish him the best and hope that he has great success. He’s a good kid. He gets a chance to play at a SEC school that will give him a high profile and an opportunity to have great success.

"Sometimes it just doesn’t work out. It doesn’t mean anybody is at fault as much as we hope that he has great success where he is.”
