Destiny still has another year given her medical redshirt, right?

She is still playing in games this year ! Although they are mop up minutes….. So if she was going to apply for medical red shirt? She would not be playing, but she is continuing to play ? So not seeking another year ! Just my opinion

I agree Jillian is getting better each game. Da Spear has been solid as a rock past 2 years. For certain you can never guarantee you can find and sign who you need from the portal.

Nice to have a number to put to money allocated for recruiting. And totally agree that $$ helps. A rookie in the W makes so little, and most of these players wont stick on a roster. I'll never fault a female athlete for getting what they can in NIL and would love more detail on how that has changed.

This wouldn’t be NIL, schools can’t provide that yet. This would be for travel, scouting, visits, etc. NIL thru the collective has also been juiced. So the current staff has huge advantages over what the last had most of their tenure. Good for them, it’s what it takes.

My take is that many new individuals arrive at this board with the aggressive -me,me,me personality prominent on social media. And as a recent post - "I'm not being obnoxious , I am only disagreeing. I will guess at a color for my post . I do know how to push the ignore button (smile)

Thanks your edit brought its a recruiting budget instead of NIL to my attention. I was thinking that it seemed low compared to what other schools have.

I think ball handlers and point guard are not one in the same. Shooting guards don't need to be running point very often.

They are practically the same in Kim's system
