Stanford's offense looks bad. They are trying way too much fancy ****. Just pound the rock up the gut.

Touchdown Northwestern off of a 42 yard Dobbs option. (I have no idea who their QB is now.)

Is Stanford that bad or is Northwestern good? Wow! Anyway fellow BA alum at center for Stanford.. schuler looks good.

Northwestern's substantially better than most think - good shot at 8-4 or better - but Stanford is also much, much worse on offense than I thought.

Kevin Hogan has regressed every year. No athletes at the skill positions. Defense front seven is the worst it has been in seven years. As for Northwestern, can't see them winning more than seven. Schedule gets pretty tough.

NW schedule is cake. No Ohio State, no Michigan State, could potentially start 5-0. And yes Kevin Hogan is awful, his throwing motion looks like me if I was throwing with my off hand.

road games at Duke, Michigan, Nebraska, Wisconsin. They'll be fortunate to win two of those. Plus home games against Penn St and Minnesota.

They'll get two of those six. (I say Minnesota and possibly Nebraska.) 7-5 or 8-4 is better than the 5-7 or 6-6 I've seen most project. Anyway, not worth caring much about a Northwestern win total of all things.
