As someone who was in the stands three consecutive years watching my beloved Sooners score a total of 96 points on the rancid Whorns during the Muschamp era, I can assure you this statement is false. In fact, OU fans were devastated to see him leave because that might mean a competent replacement.

Probably Whorens, not Whorns.

Whorns would be more like, "Who are Horns?" while Whorens is, "Whore Horns."

So Muschamp struggled against OU, one team. Wow. That doesn't mean he wouldn't be a much better DC than Jancek. Sabah called Muschamp the best defensive ouch he had ever worked with when Texas hired him.

Your stats are off. Muschamp was the DC from 2008-2010. In those years OU scored 35, 13 and 28. Last time I checked that was 76 not 96.

In 2008 OU destroyed everybody they played except for Texas and Florida. Pretty impressive considering they had a Heisman winnng QB.

In 2009 Texas held OU to negative rushing yards and only 1 TD. In 2010 Texas held a very good OU team to just 28 points. Sorry but your argument that Muschamp is not a good DC is insane.
