Starts 30 minutes after Tennessee kicks off. Anybody else gonna have it on in the background?

I don't have ESPNU so I figure I'll have it on in the background since I have to watch the Tennessee game online anyways. I really should hook my computer up to the big screen but I do kind of want to see bits of the game without having to flip back and forth.

Reading a game thread for a game that you're not going to watch to say you're not going to watch it. Makes sense...

Its not on. If it were on I would watch it. Usually early game threads have, guess what, early game info.

Nice!

My tv is fairly new so I'm not sure I have it. Even if I did, I don't think it would work if I have it hdmi to watch the game through my computer.

Check your tv's menu options.

But yeah it's mainly about having a secondary input source...such as an Xbox or a computer or both (or another cable line I guess) put into a TVs input (hdmi, etc) and stream the game through.

Without another input source, not sure you can. (and not understanding your last sentence, sorry)

Not sure there is much info. Just started it since it's two top 25 teams and thought some people might want to talk about it. If there is any info, people can feel free to pass it along.

I'm kind of sick of Boise State so I wouldn't mind seeing Michigan State win. Dantonio seems like a nice enough coach and I remember he had a seizure or heart attack on the sideline a year or two ago? Scary stuff.

Not gonna start another thread but Michigans rb is suspended for the Alabama game for you betters out there this may move the lines even more.

Oh okay. I was just saying when I click source I have to choose between TV, component or HDMI(how I hook my computer up to my TV) and I don't know that I can use TV and HDMI at the same time. My TV probably doesn't have PP because I haven't noticed it. I'll have to check though.

What do you normally run the cable (or satellite or whatever) through, if you have it? / how many hdmi ports?

Two hdmi ports and two component ports. One of the hdmi ports is also a dvi port. I just screw the cable cord into the back of the TV. I had a box but I get more channels without it.

Ok, so do check your tv's menu options when you get home (or just look up the model information online); I'd have to think with that many varying inputs it'd have to have that option somewhere...and if so it should work, since you sound like you're using two different types of input (hdmi, regular cable).

I'll definitely check it out on commercials or on the laptop. Excited for that game as well.

Should be high-scoring, right?

I don't remember who it was but someone on ESPN was comparing Michigan State's defense to Alabama.

While I don't think that could possibly be true, it doesn't sound like it should be very high scoring. Kellen Moore and Kirk Cousins are both gone.

Maybe it will be high scoring but both were good QB's. Guess we'll have to see what their back up QB's are all about.

Their de gholson is a true monster of a football player. Great defense. They kill Boise tonight even tho they break in a new qb as well.
