Southern Miss leads 38-14. That's not important. What is is the fact that 28 of those points came from pick sixes, punt returns, and blocked punts. Talk about defense and special teams.

That was par for the course during the 90s.

And any day that we beat the Butt Pirates is a good day.

USM's just got a darn good team this year. Take out the fluke loss to Marshall and they could've been in Houston's position.

They can't beat Houston.

And C-USA deserves all the accolades they get for being a lilly-soft-as-a-baby's-bottom conference. USM won't ever get any better than they are now unless they luck into the Big XIIorwhatever or the Big "East".

Yeah, seems like when their top linebacker(korey williams) and leading rusher(k.hardy) went out they have exploded. Gonna be tough playing houston but with the defense playing how they have been, just might pull out a victory. Love the new 4-2-5 D. Wonder if williams is gonna get medical RS. Fedora never tells anyone about injuries

I'd definitely rather go there than New Jersey.

I got sick of the NFL this year. They're playing terrible because of the lockout, and now they're talking about getting paid (after they already got paid). Sick of 'em. So I started becoming a recruiting junkee.

I'm from lots of places. Did my 9 years in Mississippi. Loved it there. Never wanted to leave. Then Iraq happened...

I still wanna get back to Hattiesburg some day. Then I'll be the one talking about how Bower was the best coach the team ever had and when we had Nix we were unstoppable these newfangled helmets GET OFF MY LAWN!

Yeah hattiesburg is great. ive lived in sumrall my whole life which is ten minutes outside hattiesburg. I work for the university so i try to make it to all home games. Im really impressed on how they have played this year and think disch was a great pick up. Im scared for next year since davis is leaving and I havnt seen arseno favor play much. I figure he will take over because I dont believe cambell or lloyd have the speed to run fedoras offense
