Why not?

Hopefully the people working there realize that their higher duty is to the country, and they need to be prepared to send up a flare if circumstances deteriorate much further.

Don't be so dismissive. We've had GOP members of Congress come right up to the edge of saying it.

So let me get this straight. 2 hours ago...

Ironic isn't it how the right loons screech about fake news then forward each other fabricated junk like this. And then they post it here, ascribing it to a brave school teacher. And of course have the teacher working in LA.

Made up statement. Made up teacher. Made up school.

pathetic.

Now that a highly questionable story matches your agenda....

Don't be so dismissive. We've had GOP members of Congress come right up to the edge of saying it.

I didn't fabricate a person to say it.

Please try to be rational. I know it's hard.
lol... I'm so irrational that I'm the one that actually pointed out that the other story was BS. I guess the truly intelligent people only latch onto suspect stories attached to people we've heard of as opposed to suspect stories from unnamed people. It's so much more tasteful.

Look man....I understand. It's got to be a real ***** to realize you're the type of guy you'd like to kick in the nuts. Feel free to hit the "contact us" button if you need to talk it out.

Not talking about Trump or about either party here but let's play the "what if game" for a minute... if a President was truly showing signs of dementia (and none other than Howard Baker said that he believed in hind sight that Reagan was at the end of his 2nd term), would the 25th amendment be enacted or would those close to him, just try and ride it out? There is no question we came close to this with Reagan. He was bed ridden with Alzheimer's less than 5 years after leaving office.

Now, as a footnote... Donald Trump's father, Fred Trump, had Alzheimer's for 6 years before his death. There is still much to learn about the disease but there does appear to be a hereditary link. Trump is 71 years old. It's not so ridiculous to think about even in regards to Trump (although I'm not doing that with my above question).

The author admits it’s all lies...

Michael Wolff, the author of "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," included a note at the start that casts significant doubt on the reliability of the specifics contained in the rest of its pages.

Several of his sources, he says, were definitely lying to him, while some offered accounts that flatly contradicted those of others.

But some were nonetheless included in the vivid account of the West Wing's workings, in a process Wolff describes as "allowing the reader to judge" whether the sources' claims are true.

The problem is that Reagan's failing health was in secret whereas Trump wears his paranoid dementia like a badge of honor. We will continue to see it until one day very soon he launches into a profanity-laced tirade and you guys will have to come to grips with what the other 65 % of us already know. He's nuts.

What Wolff wrote are not lies in the sense that he reported in his book what others told him. He is simply being careful to make it clear that he did not fact check their claims. Take note that Steve Bannon hasn't denied making the statements that Wolff quoted him as saying. He has now apologized for saying them... but he has not said that he was misquoted by Wolff.

And when obama said Wolfe made up things about him in his book....

How about his book about Tony Blair?
You libs sure are forgetful.

If a doctor was to diagnose Trump with any sort of disease that had the potential to affect his cognitive abilities, then the 25th amendment should be utilized immediately. I would hate to think there would be anyone that would agree to ride it out.

My mother is 76 years old and is sharper than most people much younger. My wifes mother is 82 and sharp as a tack. Drives, works crosswords, cooks, volunteers, etc.
Dementia will getcha regardless of age. Some sooner some later some never.

But keep perpetuating Trump is a loon, or has Alzheimers, or some form of dementia bs. See bold.

What about the Goldwater rule? Do the liberal Democrat psychiatrists forget that when it involves Trump?

Both my parents lived to their 90's, and were as sharp as could be to the end.
