This is a tracker where we can go back and see historically where we are and where we've been for recruiting rankings.

Harrison Bailey is 2020 class not 2019. He said today he was not planning to reclassify.

Edit: NVM. I see the is for the 2020 class

QB's should almost get double power points in ratings. Having a top level QB erases many sins and deficiencies...Dobbs, Shurmur, Lock, Fitzgerald, or in Bama case w/ Tua, takes a dominant team to "best ever" conversation. Glad we're getting quality depth at most important position, and looks like OL/DL depth, so we're trending in right direction.

If this guy is as good as we think he may get a bump to 5 star before his senior season is up. At least we can hope.

Has anyone ever tracked how many commits two years out come through. We sure need Bailey to stick.
I bet a lot of them don’t.

Keep in mind, Jordan Davis hasn't been assigned a rating by either site yet. He'll likely be a high 4-star (he was a high 4 star and Bama commit coming out of high school). That will boost our 2020 rating a few slots.

Also, one of our four commits is a long snapper, who will likely be our lowest ranked recruit. Long snappers are rarely ranked higher than 2-star.

The lowest rated recruit is usually worth less than a half point in the end anyways.

As of right now (02/16/2019), we are 21st on the 247 Composite, and 23rd on Rivals.

Two years is a long time. If Bailey signs early he’ll have been committed approximately 12 months though. 14 if he waits until NSD.

QBs usually do stick because they know their commitment can be the lynchpin of the class helping add WRs OL and RBs.

Updated after adding Art Green. My guess is we go up after he's rated by 247 and Rivals. I'll keep an eye out.
