They do look like trash. Hard to put too much stock into a 1st game tho, esp on a the road against a ranked opponent.

Indeed. They look lost and out of sync, especially on defense. I will say Mertz appears to have some running ability.

I hate first games lol. Not super worried about false starts or some small mistakes, but this is embarrassing. The secondary is TRASH and everyone on the offense is making really bad mistakes. Mertz may not turn the ball over but he's missing a lot. If cam rising is playing its 35-3
