Probably not. If Michigan was ranked or they blew them out I’d give you that, but it seems fairly likely they’ll still be sitting relative to where they are (as in behind TN).
If that were the case, they’d already be in front of Tennessee this week (they were still 9-0 to UT’s 7-1).I think they will and probably should since Indiana is unbeaten. I don't understand Penn State being ahead of Tennessee though.

Clearly there’s a reason that, even undefeated, the committee’s still feels/chooses to put them behind a 1-loss UT. And I’m not sure why a 5-point win over a 5-5 Michigan team would be enough to push them over, save for if Tennessee struggles to beat a 2-win Mississippi State (and similarly ends up winning by only less than a score).
I get that, but the discussion/main consideration is how specifically the committee is going to look at it. Not the general public or say the AP voters.Indiana hadn't played anyone yet. I get that Michigan isn't good but people still recognize the name. It is like beat Kentucky in Basketball (even when they are bad) or Florida for us. Any win is a good win.
