3 out of 4 weeks we have snapped the ball and the officials have blown the play dead and changed a call. I know it wouldn’t have changed the outcome of the game but it’s getting ridiculous. If you are gonna change the call, blow the play dead, but to change the call after the next play is run 3 out of 4 weeks is damn annoying

Do we know the officials did not wave off the play before the snap? Is there video evidence?

My understanding is once the ball is snapped the previous play is in the books.

Problem is that nobody knows when a call is “buzzed down” besides the officials, and the SEC officiating has been atrocious, at best.
I find it hard to believe that there is no way to clean that up. I remember several times when the Vols ran another play and then the officials would flag the previous play for review. Just completely disregard the succeeding play because (allegedly) the previous play had been “buzzed down” from somewhere.
I don’t know if Heupel is gun shy or what, but just once, I’d love to see him throw a Stoops/Saban/Muschamp-level fit when they pull that stunt.

What I'd like to know is how they give mizzou the ball on the fumble play when a whistle had been blown mid play?

He doesn't have the balls! He is afraid of hurting someone's feelings! He needs to grow a pair and be an azz like Saban, Smart, Miles, and Kiffin. Otherwise, the refs are going to continue to run all over him!!! He might as well start clapping his hands like Fulmer used to do!

I’m beginning to wonder if our offense just p*sses the refs off to the point they’ve decided to simply ignore opposing teams penalties just to keep our offense off the field.

That's about as good of a reason as any other I have heard.

Last week, we had snapped the ball and Wright was 4 yards down the field with the ball when they blew it dead to review the previous play. It wasn’t even close.

Heupel reminds me of Georgias ex-coach Mark Richt! Really nice guy & good coach but didn't have that FIRE!!!!!! He could win 8,9, or 10 wins in a season, but that wasn't good enough for Georgia! Georgia got called for a holding penalty tonight & Kirby Smart snapped so hard on the sidelines! He pushes his players so hard & demands perfection!

The rule needs to change to when the ball is snap you can’t review it. If the ref is too slow in blowing the whistle, oh well.

Bruh. Let’s see how we do with Nico first. If he can’t get to the playoff with him, then judge all you want

Simple fix, go the NFL route and only allow refs to review touchdowns and turnovers. All other plays have to be coach’s challenges.
