Honestly if this team had a 3pt specialist we would be a top ten team.. No one on this team can hit it consistently other than Hopson so teams crowd the paint and dare us to shoot.. We rely on him for penetrating and slashing to the basket and his midrange game.. There isn't that guy that sit back and hit the 3 when things in the paint break down.. We can't rely on Hopson to do it if he is the one doin the work in the midrange game and drawing double teams..

He is not a shooter ... he is a very athletic slasher that can open up the offense and create 3pt shots.. his mid range game is his best game.. that has the capability of hitting the three ball.. we need him to do so many more things on the court.. A pure chris lofton or jujan type 3 pt shooter he is not

But he shoots wat mabye two or three a game...... Hopson achilles heel he needs to put this team on his back and lead them.. shoot more.. he has confidence issues at times and we all know it.. this is why he isn't nba ready

in the last 6 games he has shot 8,7,5,5,7, and 1

he had a really good defender on him today and did what he could. if you look at the number of shots hes been taking lately, you will see that he shoots plenty.

Hope Scotty flop don't go pro ... He'd be crazy I've never seen anyone do a360 dunk and then bounce 3 off his knees outta bounds.. NBA ???? Close

This. Liggins is one of the top 5 on-ball defenders in the country. He's a very underrated player.
His defensive ability, the fact that he's a long 6'6" or 6'7", and his ability to drive the ball will put him on an NBA roster when he leaves Kentucky.

exactly. thats why it is SOOOO frustrating that we had him and Lamb out with 2 minutes and 30 seconds left but never got back on the offensive end of the floor! Hopson would have been able to do work.

Thanks for validating my point... we need a 3pt threat other than Scotty cause we rely on him to do so many other things .. jus think Scotty driving to the whole drawning double and triple teams would be nice to be able to kick it out to a lights out shooter to knock a few down and loosen up the d.. not saying it would solve everything but man it would help.

Outside of Hopson no one can hit threes on this team. And even Hopson isn't a pure 3 point shooter. That player is supposed to be Tatum or McBee, but we know how that has gone.

I'm not changing my point...... We need a deep threat.. We can't rely on Scotty to set back and hit threes we rely on him to do so much more .. Kentuckys 3 ball hurt us today.. well along with some bad officiating.. but Scotty has to be consistent from game to game we all know this..

your point was we have no 3 point threat. i present hopson and you change it to "other than hopson, we have no 3 point threat." i agree with the second one but the first was wrong.

This.......... Hopson is no pure 3pt shooter aka Chris Lofton, jj reddick, jimmy freddette, steph curry type shooters.. every good team has someone that be there to knock it down consistently when things in the paint break down

U took it out of context .. we rely on Scotty to penetrate slash drive and hit that midrange shot that not many people can do.. we lack a 3pt specialist.. which he is not.. but yes he is capable of knockin em down.. u must not have listened to both Reggie Miller and Houstons take on Hopson.. they both said the 3pt shot is not his game but the midrange game he posesses is what the Nba will like along with his ability to step out and hit the three.. he doesn know where he is gonna take his shot til it happens.. Miller and Houston said they knew nine times out of ten where there shot was comin from before they ever touched the ball..

read your damn original post. Hopson is bouth a 3pt threat and a guy that can hit it consistently. you are changing everything you originally said. nowhere did you mention a specialist. just stop.
