Sadly, he may not be.

A fella can be a captain without suiting up. Seen it before. Emotional leader of the team walking out in his jersey over street clothes for the coin toss as one of the captains.

But won't it be awesome if he CAN play?!?

Would love to see him get on the field if even only for the coin toss. Really hate to see a player go down to an injury especially one that puts it all out every play.
