Seven 5-1 teams in the SEC, and two are 6-0.
Doin' what the greatest conference in the history of NCAA football would do.

What this era will mean for Tennessee's future, or even college football's future, is unknown. So best we just enjoy the present and soak it in so we can tell our grandchildren about the things we saw and how it was.

we’re still ranked in front of Ga Tech and BYU both 6-0.

We have a chance to really prove ourselves next Saturday.

So whatever this poll would had said or not is pointless.

Go beat the #6 ranked team in the country.

This!!! Win next week and because it is Bama and it is at Bama, we'll leap frog a lot of teams.

Lose and how far we fall will depend (1) on the score and (2) what happens to teams above and below us.

But in fairness, his comments DO apply to the AP as well. In fact, they have both Oregon and ND ranked HIGHER than the coaches (8th and 13th).
Ok but this thread is about the coaches poll…(especially applicable when there was already another thread about the week’s AP Poll rankings)
