Here are the current names and odds of potential Florida head coaches. Vote on who you "think", not want, will be the next Swamp Coach.

Here is the crazy thing about all the coaches openings….Why would any coach still in CFP hunt especially someone like Lame rip the heart of their current team out and throw away their CFP spot at before they are out of CFP hunt?

How much money would that take and what would that say about that coach?

FYI….I realize the Lame hate will follow but it is a serious question.

They should hire Golesh. But maybe Golesh isn't in the mood for the chaos that uf will have him swimming in right now. My $2 is on Gruden. And then after 2 years of more futility and Dallas Cowboys-level insanity, Kiffin.

Unless Lane REALLY screws things up, Ole Miss will make the playoffs this season.

Golesh and USF have the inside track for the G5 spot right now.

Florida is not gonna wait until late December to hire a coach.

The backlash of a coach leaving a playoff team for another gig would be massive

Something to keep in mind

Florida can’t afford to miss on another one or their program is screwed. Kiffin just put out that “I’m not really such a dbag/I love Oxford” thing on ESPN so I’d say Kiffin screws over Ol Miss and bails for FL

Yeah Kiffin has his ex wife, daughter who attends OM and HS age son in Oxford. Imagine that conversation:

Lane: Hey guys!! Wanna move to sunny FLORIDA?!?!

Them: YAY!!! Beaches and FUN!! Bikinis year round!! Miami is AMAZING!!..

Lane: No...no...its in Gainesville. No beaches. No ocean. No Miami. Just a swamp.

Them: **crickets**

If Golesh gets it we are doomed. Im not a Heupel hater at all but its starting to feel like we’ve reached or ceiling. I hate to see anyone get fired but if you ask me today if I’d rather have Golesh or Heupel I honestly think I’d rather have Golesh.
I heard multiple times today on the radio that Florida isn’t likely to go after another G5 coach. Sounds like they want someone who has already had success as an SEC head coach.

I think Drink or Fisch. Sounds like a game I used to play. Fisch is an alum who got his start under Spurrier. I think Drink has reached the Mizzou ceiling and would look elsewhere.

Drink strikes me as a worse version of Mullen.

By that I mean worse on the weird meter.

Mullen is a weird guy (as we all are to a degree), but you would probably be happy to have him as a neighbor. He's funny at times and somewhat loyal

Drink just kinda strikes me as the guy who intentionally annoys the rest of the neighborhood

I'm not so sure the folks in Gainesville are ready to go down that road again.

On the surface though, yeah Drink kinda ticks the boxes
