Clemson and Vandy have the same chance of losing their coach as Tennessee does. Zero

I don't know about that.

People in Clemson are spoiled. They would be dumb to do it but hey we saw how spooled we got with Fulmer and after we fired him, a decade of misery.

I could see Clark leaving. Yeah it's his Alma Mater but I bet he even knows this is lightning in a bottle

Not yet. With all these openings, someone is gonna make an insane over the top financial offer to some coaches. LSU is the one job I never want to be open because I think every coach in the country not named Kirby and Ryan Day have to listen to them if they come knocking your way

I’ll sleep better when LSU has announced their hire and it’s NOT Heupel.

Not saying he’s going anywhere but LSU in my mind is the one job in this country where you have to listen to them regardless.

Hell LSU is gonna call Jimmy Sexton and ask who they should call lol

I am so thankful to not be apart of this coaching insanity. Unless a program has a coach already lined up, I would just keep my coach no matter how had for another year.

LSU: Kiffin
Ole Miss: James Franklin?
Arkansas: keep Petrino?
Auburn: no idea, zero
Florida: James Franklin?
Kentucky: No idea. Jimbo Fisher?
South Carolina: Golesh? Malzahn?

And this is definitely a concern I have. I like Huepel, but maybe this is just me, but I don't sense a ton of loyalty from him lol. Someone like Butch Jones would always just simp for Tennessee but again, he knew he had tk because he was mid. I don't think Huepel would be LSU's first phone call but it would be up there if they whiff on Kiffin

Josh Heupel would borderline insane to not talk to LSU if they came calling to gauge his interest.

The problem for any school chasing Kiffin is he will likely be in the playoff. Kiffin isn’t gonna abandon his team or take time away to interview for a new job in the midst of a playoff run. Especially a playoff run that puts him in a spot to do the thing everyone says he can’t and that’s contending for a title at Ole Miss.

Any school wanting to hire him would have to wait until near new year.

The more we win out, the more we still have something to play for aka no reason for a coach to be focused on other things.

I’d almost put Kiffin in that boat, too. I don’t think he’s going anywhere. Those that think he’s shopping himself around or will jump at the first offer won’t accept this isn’t the Lane Kiffin of 15 years ago.
