This game is a carbon copy of any of our big game performances under him. This is not acceptable at all and I don’t know how anyone can watch this team and say they have been well coached at any level.

Massive mistake after massive mistake and every game has been sloppy and a struggle to do simple things right.

This is a decently talented football team that can barely do anything right. I have seen enough awful coaching performances at Tennessee to recognize another one. He has been great for us, but he has failed this year.

He beat Alabama and made it to the playoffs. He isn’t a liar and lock room cancer. Hope this helps!

Define sucks for me? Taking a last minute QB who walked on after getting pushed out for Nico and playing competitive in the SEC and making him look to the max of his abilities seems pretty solid to me.

Who you going to get that’s any better???
CJH will get us there. Started the year with a portal QB when Nico left. Mass exodus from wide receivers. Started his career with limited scholarships.
CJH will get us through this.

Finally someone with some common sense.
This team was picked to finish in the bottom half of the SEC.
Our starting QB has been on campus for 5 months and we still haven’t seen our 2 best DBs.
If you expected much more than this for 2025, it’s on you.

And what should we expect out of 2026? However you answer that question is your current outlook on this season.

Such a low quality take brother. I mean that with no disrespect at all. But look at the totality. Look at the SEC, college footballs current state, and the cards we were dealt this season. I think there is plenty of reasons to accept this season for what it is. I wanted the Aguilar era to be a beautiful story (which it still is and can be). It just seems that story won’t have playoffs in it.

Being paid 9 mil a year and no even knowing the clock rules is a good start. Should I go on?

Its not any different. This team is about what we saw with Butch. I had hope. But we ALL knew this hire was a stretch at best. 5 years and here we are. Some very dedicated fans dont have another 5 to see a hire deserving of our loyalty. Its a shame.

I think that some of us Vol fans are frustrated because we had a shot at controlling our own destiny in the playoffs. And now, the playoffs are off the table for this season. Oklahoma isn't a lower tier or garbage team. They're a good team. At least defensively. They did a great job of exploiting our weaknesses on both sides of the ball and Venables did a better job tonight as far as coaching goes. And I am getting sick of Gilbert missing kicks when we really need him the most.

But we were expected to be in the lower tier of the SEC this season. We lost a lot of players through the transfer portal, graduation, and the NFL Draft. We were supposed to drop off on offense, but thanks to Aguilar, we are the BEST offense in the conference. It is our defense that has been our Achillies heel this year. Hopefully, Heupel will show Banks and Martinez the door after the season is over and he will recruit some more defensive players and we can get a few gems through the portal for next season.

But I am still in the corner of Coach Josh Heupel. We don't need to pull the trigger right now. If we don't improve in a couple more years, then we could talk. But we need to realize that this is the best that we have been in a long time and it is Coach Heupel and Danny White that have helped make it happen. Think about what we had to go through before they showed up.

Butch Jones had a team loaded with talent in 2016 and went 9-4. Lost to UGa by 40+, Bama by 30+. And Vandy. Stop with the nonsense.

I hope you are right. Not seeing it. Players reflect their coach. And these guys don’t have it. Chokers.

Fulmer got lucky with good coaches on his staff, then they left. The only thing he did was was recruit, his teams were full of NFL talent, some legends and he did less with more most of the time. So yeah he needed to go. Josh is doing less with more now, just not at the same level as Fulmer becasue our talent is not that high.
