Michigan was caught in a sign-stealing scandal led by a guy named Connor Stalions that ran from 2021 to 2023, so just this week the NCAA hit Michigan State with hefty penalties including 14 vacated wins and a 3-year probation.

Heh.

Go Vols!

If we didn't hire Pruitt, we would have hired Tucker. Pruitt was bad enough, but Tucker probably would have been even worse here. Yikes.

Unbelievably corrupt and unjust judgments from this organization. Michigan should have gotten everything but the death penalty for stealing a national championship and multiple teams seasons. Unreal

The NCAAs problem was that after what happened with SMU they refused to use the death penalty again. That being basically off the table just kinda of guaranteed that things were going to get out of control

I could make arguments that at various points along the line-Bama, Penn State, Baylor, hell even us might have deserved a year off.

I don't think forcing Bama to take a year off would nuke their program forever.
