I will probably be in minority here. I read that Nico will not play in Columbus against Ohio State. I knew it before I started reading the comments but the Buckeyes fans would "Guess he didn’t want another cracked helmet" "Didn't want another 42-17".

I am venting as Ohio States fanbase is so obnoxious I was rooting for Nico not necessarily to beat them as that would be too far from reality but get about 350 yards of total offense on them say 270 in the air and 80 on the ground. As much as I am frustrated with Nico I loathe Ohio State.

What are you guys thoughts? Were you hoping Nico would play against OSU or not care one ounce?

In this case, I would think that Nico and crew simply made a "business decision"..

He best be careful. He had one here last season against Miss St.

You have three concussions in college and generally the NFL will not even look at you these days

According to some on VN, the season is over for UCLA anyway and they SHOULD be starting the backup QB so he gets experience for next year.

Hmmm...I went back and read everything I could find on UCLA's "injury reports". Nothing until about 24 hours ago. In fact, I found an article from Wednesday where the coaches were talking about Nico playing against tOSU...about "taking it one play at a time"...what a leader he was, etc.

This reeks of a decision by Nico Nic to avoid getting embarrassed (again) at the Shoe. As I have said before, a zebra can't change its' stripes.

His NIL value continues to plummet. As does his draft stock. And rightfully so.

He’s not hurt. Just some “load
management.”

There was a preseason interview where Nico said he was excited to have another chance at beating Ohio State with his new team. I guess he changed his mind after realizing his new offensive line is worse than his last one.
