One of my favorite players and football ones being a fan.
Great competitor! Recall his freshman year against Bama when his helmet was ripped off & he kept on running. Here's a similar photo against Miami. Casey was a Big Orange WARRIOR!

Guy was tough as nails, I remember him mixing it up with an Alabama d lineman after a play with no helmet on, him playing the last part of a game with a broken clavicle and not telling the staff until the game was over (threw a late TD to Witten after the fracture).

It's a shame he didn't leave with an SEC title. He threw for over 300 yards and 2 TDs in the SECCG against LSU, but it seems like everyone else was in a trance.

It brings back great memories to see the Iceman again. I wish there was a way for him to somehow impart his competitive spirit onto our current team.

Wish he could have some 1:1 time with Joey this week - The Iceman was THE LAST VOLUNTEER QB to win in Gainesville...we need that kind of mojo this week !!!

I used to keep track of Casey when I was living in LA and Vegas. He had and may still have a great high school coaching career underway. The last I heard and with great fanfare at the time he was named head coach at his high school alma mater.

I always had high hopes somebody would bring him into collegiate football and he’d end up on The Hill. Clouds in my coffee.

Towards the end of the video he spoke about some kind of issue or tragedy that his brother Rick went through. Anyone know what that was about?
