Initial Injury Report

Already did this in a prior thread.

Florida = Cupcake Game

And just in case anyone really thinks Florida is toothless, this was their injury report prior to Ole Miss -

report.pngNow Florida didn't do too bad down in Oxford, and that one was on the road. Ole Miss's defense finally shut them down in the second half. I don't know how Tennessee's defense compares to Ole Miss's, but ... yeaaaah ... I'd advise folks tread lightly on those expectations.

Sometimes if feels like the Gators could field 5 people on the other side of the ball and still beat us.

I hope our coaches have a solid game plan to beat Florida.
Kentucky once did it with an offensive lineman at QB. Kidding, it was a WR but still. Anytime someone likes to get a little to arrogant about a SEC game ahead I like to go back to that one.

Why is everyone's initials on the Initial Report also their positions?

Also, why does Florida have so many more violators than we do?
The speculation is with nothing to play for and coaching uncertainty in the program that people who are injured or simply ready to pack it in for the season are doing so.

How many of the "out" guys for UF are considered a big loss? I don't like the idea of Heupel having to reshuffle the OL in the swamp if Moe can't play.
@Lawrence Wright

Several have been out for several games or more. The Wilson's were starting WRs. See a few others I think were starters..

Tennessee should win but if FLorida comes to play and is focused, like they have been, that will make it much tougher to get a win. Assume they are engaged, I wouldn't expect to win just because its hard to win down there.. Now if those players don't care, we should walk over them

McCoy and Gibson packing it up like most here predicted I suppose.
Gibson was lost for the season in Game 1. That's been reported all year. Yet people keep acting like he could come back. He was never coming back. Didn't matter how may times it was said, our fans kept asking.

RICKEY GIBSON WAS INJURED AND LOST FOR THE SEASON AGAINST SYRACUSE. WE HAVE KNOWN THIS FOR MONTHS.

I'm not sure how else to convey this information.
