I wouldn’t put much into the “backup quality” rating. They’re all pretty harsh and grade far more players as backups than as starters
Thanks…that makes more sense. We’re still looking at a 10 win season so we must have a few more starter quality players than what they suggest

It’s pretty telling that pff gave Lagway a higher grade than Joey (71 vs 69) and had more Florida players on offense with a score of 70 and above than we did on offense (5 vs 3). Only took them about 53 minutes to find the endzone.

just in case anyone is wondering if these scores mean anything.

Did Morris move ahead of Thomas on the depth chart? With Lewis out, I thought Thomas would get more carries but they went to Morris instead.

I think it’s just how the carries worked out. Thomas had one drive with a really long run so that’s going to limit his reps if you are rotating every series. And I think once the game was out of hand it made since to give the young back more reps and keep Thomas fresh for next week

I could perhaps go along with that if he entered later, but Morris was the second back in the game when it was 14-0.

Don't discount the weak schedule. We'll come to appreciate that next season when we get our turn in the real SEC world.

its the most useless metric I've seen in following college ball for 60 years. can't even imagine the concept of watching and grading every college game with any sort of accuracy...

These grades feel pretty low based off of the vibes of the game. We ran the ball well and overall the offensive line had a bad score. Also our defensive grades seemed low.

They really spread the pt around on defense. Except for Redmond, Hood, and Turrentine, no one had more than 37 snaps. Good to be fresh for Vandy.

Florida hung tough with Georgia ole Miss and beat Texas. It wasn’t a bad Florida team, they had talent on the roster just a culture and depth problem. I don’t see Kiffin going there
