WCS had a few words to say about it:

A reporter told Willie Cauley-Stein about Miles’ comments in the locker room, and Willie couldn’t believe it.

“You’ve never even watched us play in person or you’ve never even watched us play people that are supposed to beat you and you end up beating them by 30, 40 points. But we don’t play hard? I mean…” Willie trailed off. “If you’re playing against teams like UCLA, Kansas, that are good teams and you’re able to do what we did to them without playing hard, imagine what we do playing hard. That’s kind of my mentality.”

Do Miles’ remarks light a fuse?
“Absolutely,” Willie said. “Now I’m kind of juiced. This game is going to be really fun. They made it kind of personal now. It’s just going to be one of them games, that I’m telling you, if you want to watch a good game, you’re going to want to watch this game because dudes is lit. Dudes is really ready to play.”

Maybe not to you but half of UK's fan base would consider this a disappointing season if they don't win the NCAA tournament cause this is one of the most talented teams in UK history.

IDC about the miserable half. I would be disappointed, but to call the season a disappointment is ridiculous. The NCAAT is a crapshoot. The best team rarely wins.

If it all ends today, the SEC accomplishments were impressive. I will just put WCS's block against Arky on loop till next season. I have coworkers from West Virginia and Wisconsin. If we were to beat them before we lost it would be much sweeter.

Never disappointed in this team no matter the result. Disappointing is the perfect word.

And UK fans need to enjoy and cherish this season, because the euphoria and utopian world they are living in is about to change I'm afraid.

Little late to the party, but yes you're correct. 1-1 while at Kentucky. Huggins out coached cal a bit in 2009, but we shot 1-31 from the 3 point line.

I expect 3-8 tonight.

Five years ago tomorrow Kentucky shot 23-67 from the field and 4-32 from 3 pt range in losing to West Va...Probably won't happen again but damn that would be sweet.
