They seem to be more interested in Jelly Roll than the game.

For me, even though I am only an hour away from Nissan Stadium, the MCB is a game to watch from home.

they are mostly confident but not really cocky. not a ton of breakdown on the matchups or anything. both teams favor offense over defense, they are jealous that we fired our DC and they haven't. expectations for a high scoring game. mostly talk about tickets and who will actually play.

I did see one gem there.

Tennessee has played in the Music City Bowl three times previously and each time the game drew 68,000+.

I’d think our guys should be hyped to play in front of a big bowl crowd. To put it into perspective:

2022- Reliaquest had 36,000 fans.
2024- Citrus had 47,000 fans."

a lot of them are thinking the crowd distribution will be pretty even.

That would not shock me. People in Illinois and Indiana LOVE Nashville.

I don’t get it. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I mean the Ryman is a cool venue, and the live music scene is one of the best in the country.

Otherwise I think it’s kind of meh.

one other thing that struck me is how much they talked about Jelly Roll. they seemed to think he has some connection with UT and is a big fan of ours. they must have missed him being Georgia's Game Day guest.

A big crowd? Have you been to Neyland? Even during the Butch and Dooley days.

When did we try to "poach Luke"? I've never even heard of him.

Illinois people will absolutely love coming to this game. It would not shock me at all if they have basically the same amount of people that we do at this game. They seemed to bring down a ton for the basketball game at Bridgestone.

You are 100% dead on about people from that part of the country loving Nashville. They love the relatively short drive to a party destination (much closer than New Orleans) and cosplaying as cowboys or country singers. Over the years I've met several people from Great Lakes states and when I tell them I am from Tennessee, they immediately start going on and on about how cool Nashville is.
