I never understood the hate for Willie; he had one of the better position groups on our team. McCoy, Hood, and Gibson are all likely first-round picks, Ty Redmond looks good for a true freshman. Safety was the problem, not CB.

Besides Rodney Garner, WM has been our best coach on defense. Folks that know football knows this. Safeties have been terrible, that's on Banks!

Martinez might have 2 first round picks this year with Hood and McCoy. Maybe they don't go first round but get drafted. That's still really good .He's also has a 3rd team all SEC freshman at DB.
That's pretty good.
