LSU won NC's with Les Miles and Ed Orgeron while Saban was at Bama. If they could win with those clowns, I would submit that LSU with a really good HC is every bit as good, maybe a better job than Bama.

I think it would be best imo...Deboer is not going to survive in the long run @ Alabama..Saban left a size 15 shoe to fill and Deboer's a sz 8...

There are things nobody ever bothers to mention when they bring up that point-

But Les Miles even got to play for a NC due to weeks upon weeks of some of the biggest chaos I have ever seen in CFB.

Ed O won his NC because he bumbled and stumbled into perhaps the most talented team for one year to ever take a CFB field. Even then-if Tua had not gotten hurt Bama may have still got them, so there was a bit of luck involved.

Neither of those circumstances is going to be repeatable.

Just like the Stoerner fumble ultimately leading to our 98 NC. There is always a bit of luck involved

I disagree on this - I think LSU is actually a better job - there are enough players in the river parishes alone to field a very strong football team every year and they are the only game in town. And I’m pretty sure they have way more money. Hell LSU won the NC with Les Miles and Coach O. When bama has a crappy coach they don’t win.

Absolutely NOT .Kiffin literally banged Saban's daughter. He will NEVER get hired there as long as Saban is around. Not to mention the other bridges he burned in Tuscalooser. He will be back in Knoxville before he's ever coaching at Ala.

Kiffin may be better off at LSU.

Money will eventually shift the power away from Bama. They no longer can pay more and get all the best players. The days of Logan Young are over. Saban got out when he realized he no longer had a monopoly for the best players.

BTW, our Vols spent $11.6 million (#15)

That is why I think Saban left. Everyone can play by the same rules now.

In the early part of Saban's tenure Bama was caught having a professional tailor make custom suits for their players and nothing was done about that. The irony is in the early 1970's Bear Bryant turned Mississippi State in to the NCAA for buying a player a suit to attend a family funeral and they were put on probation.
