Exactly. Which is why the talent at the JUCO level has dried up. Now, with the portal, schools can go pluck players from lower lever NCAA schools, not JUCOs.

We lost both R. Brown and Cadillac because Rotnie and Auburn were throwing around some serious $$$$$$$$$ back in the day!!! I know that Cadillac was committed to us for the longest time and R. Brown may have been committed at one point too. Lost 'em BOTH. Hmmmmmm...

Since the transfer portal only comes into play just once a year in January, would it still be correct that you could still pickup two year JUCO players way into the offseason?
I wonder if we are going to see the end of academic requirements since the only path to a career in the nfl is through college. With all of the students rights to earn money these days, doesn’t everyone get a chance to earn money?
