So other than Chop leaving and Martinez stepping down into an advisory role the staff mostly stays intact with a couple of additions.

I hope this is something Knowles genuinely wanted to do and didn't feel coerced in any way. RG is a great coach no doubt but I couldn't blame Knowles for wanting a clean slate either.

I can't imagine his hand having been forced. You don't hire a guy like him to then micromanage. He isn't a guy who's married to a certain group of assistants, so why not retain a top tier position coach. Knowles and Coach Garner likely have a lot in common in terms of age, mentality/approach.

What’s your definition of underachievement bc, imo, he didn’t underachieve this season. The floor was 8-4, the ceiling was 10-2.

I have a feeling that Knowles is about to change the defensive philosophy enough that it won’t matter if Inge stays or not. He supposedly is a pretty good recruiter though.

Glad to hear this is officially official with the portal about to open. CJH is talking to agents around the clock, and this question is an important one to be able to answer. Those guys know who is putting players high on the draft board, and when the money is close- getting your client in RG’s hands is a very valuable thing.
