I would at the very least kick the tires here and see how much he is actually commanding. Dude is an absolute stud. If he isn’t asking for a ton, then he might be worth it.

I feel pretty good rolling with MM, Staley, and Rad Jackson? Maybe Smith but Rad seems a better replacement for Brazzell.
Yeah, IMO, we need to spend NIL $$$ on DL/DB, QB and maybe one high level RB...not sure about OL...but don't need to spend more on WR, where we have stacked talent which just hasn't had the opportunities.

Some say too expendive, some say we have an open checkbook. While wanting corners, safeties, LBers, etc is easy, getting them is not as easy. Just more recruiting. You land some, you lose some. As nice as it would be to get 6 or 7 starting quality players for the defense, and maybe excellent backups, getting that many to sign is going to be tough. Gotta sell the whole package of Tenn football vs the other 20 or so teams with money.

Absolutely correct my friend, too many people on here in love with the offense, as I’ve said before it’s pretty, but defense wins championships

Watch for UGA to be in the market. They’ll free up some funds with the exit of Branch, Thomas, and Young. Will need an experienced playmaker to replace that production.

Good thought. Possibly LSU as well since they will give Kiffin the bank and Kiffin had Ole Miss as a major player in the transfer market. Coleman would be very attractive in our offense if we didn't have deep receiver talent like we do.

In addition to all of the people pointing out WR is likely our position of least need, I would imagine many schools/agents are going to try and use our wide choice offense (even with the route tree tweaks we made this off-season) to convince Coleman we’d be a bad choice even if we pursued. I don’t think he’d listen to us.

We’re pretty set at the position and he’s going to be extremely expensive, I’d rather we put those funds to a QB or defense.

Sadly I don't see our offense as very diverse. Effective but not very diverse or imaginative. Everyone looks for different things though.

Which offenses do you consider diverse and imaginative?

I thought what Vanderbilt did was multiple.

We don't run any reverses, seem to have hot routes, running back waggles and effective middle screens. Those are just the things I notice. Any reverses for sure are lacking. We don't seem to have stretch OT or power toss runs. Maybe someone can point to an example. I'm not as versed in the passing route game.
