Has anyone seen him in Orange yet? I personally have not but could easily be because I am in Houston TX. I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation but usually by now new coaching hires have at least put on a hat.

I doubt he will be coaching in the bowl game. Just easier to start fresh next season. Can't install a whole new defense in 3 weeks.

For what it’s worth I heard Kevin Simon on the radio this morning and he was talking about his son being recruited.He went on to say when he(Kevin) came here he wanted a chance to win a natty( we had won 2 years previous) and he wanted a good coach and DC,Chavis fulfilled both.He wants the same for his son.With Banks he would have went elsewhere but now with Knowles we are a definite possibility.For those of you that don’t get to listen to Mr.Simon,he knows football especially defense.

OP, as long as we win, fans don’t care what he wears or how much he weighs or if he shaves. Now, if we start losing, fans will begin to care about those things.

Knowles was a really nice hire and I think he’ll do well here! We will need him for sure, as next year’s schedule is going to be really tough.
