It's more the issue is middle Tennessee's weather in January and February can get really finnicky (ice, snow, etc, are possible) making the open stadium too risky and non-desirable. So yeah, a covered roof was the idea which should help.I would think that would push the Music City Bowl up the pecking order quite a bit in the future. I could see it leading to hosting of future CFP games, as well as a potential Super Bowl. As of now it isn't a very desirable bowl destination.
