I would think that would push the Music City Bowl up the pecking order quite a bit in the future. I could see it leading to hosting of future CFP games, as well as a potential Super Bowl. As of now it isn't a very desirable bowl destination.

It's more the issue is middle Tennessee's weather in January and February can get really finnicky (ice, snow, etc, are possible) making the open stadium too risky and non-desirable. So yeah, a covered roof was the idea which should help.
