The Vols have had a terrible bowl performance history in the Music City Bowl. 3 previous appearances. 1-2 record.

Not feeling warm and fuzzy about this 4th appearance in Music City Bowl against Illinois, given the snake-bit bowl history, but hoping for the best. Go Vols!

Offense is sluggish except run game, passing is off and defense is young. Hopefully next yr will be better.

3rd quarter. So far Vols have been out played and out coached. I just don’t get it. We’ll see how the 4th goes.

That didn’t feel super snake-bit.

Wow. CJH is getting schooled. That 4th down was for the game. Now it’s a chip shot or worse, a TD, with nearly no time left. Looks like the Vols will go 23 straight losses when down by 10 points in the 4th.

If I were Tennessee I would never ever play in the Music City Bowl again. How many times are we going to be jinxed by this bowl? Isn’t this 3 losses in a row in this bowl? It’s going to be a long long offseason.

Actually we’ve lost 3 out of the last 4 we’ve played there. We did beat Nebraska.
