Do you remember me now? UT remains the best mediocre team in the SEC—8–5, right where we always land. It’d be nice if we actually invested real money into our football program.

Remind me again: what were we ranked going into this bowl game, only to lose to an unranked Illinois team? And Max kicking like that—same story as the UGA game. We showed up for Georgia, then completely quit on the rest of the season.

You all called me everything except sane, but the difference between us is simple: I’ve been riding this pathetic roller coaster a lot longer than you have. I stand by everything I said—honestly, we might as well have kept Coach Dooley.



Oh, and by the way—Saban leaves Alabama and they immediately find a good coach and a quarterback. Amazing how that works. Not sure if you heard.

Don’t agree about Dooley though.

Heupel has beaten Alabama (2) Florida (3).
There was time when we lost to each of them 10+ time in a row.

DeBoer took over a program in way better shape than what Heupel took over and will lose 8 games in two seasons. That’s the same amount of losses as Heupel has had the last two seasons. Plus, Simpson was a Saban recruit.

Not saying Heupel doesn’t have his warts, but DeBoer has his share, too.
