I have gone to Vol games for 75 years and this crew is the biggest bunch of losers, under performers, chokers and dumbasses I have ever seen.

4 plays in a row defined this team in the first hald

WR, either Matthews or Staley drops a pass on the 5

our FG kicker, the biggest chokder in the history of UT sports, misses a chip shot FG

First Illinois play Farok drops a sure int

Next play we get a dumbass PF penalty after the play, the second of the first half

Then in the dumbest play of all our 5th yr senior jumps offsides on 3rd and 6, late in the 4th quarter.

Josh is 8-6 in our last 14 games, he needs to get his fatass in gear.

Yeah your damn straight I am pissed. Being a medicore HS athlete i never criticized college guys until NIL and the portal came in. You guys want to get paid then how about performing. Especially you Max.

And before you ask I have given many thousands of dollars to the UTAD since 1972. But about 10 years ago switched to the Haslam College of Business.

I was watching and doing some work....glancing up and down here or there. But....in the first half, I watched Staley drop an off, but catchable pass. Illinois drover for a field goal. You said essentially that above. Next, I watch pretty much that same thing with the TE, it was there, it was close enough to catch, he didn't. Saw that in the first half, it told me pretty much how the second one was gonna go. It didn't disappoint.

I have been saying this for a long, long time. Kirby, Spurrier and Saban started at practice time. They didn't leave it to position coaches. If a player kept screwing up in practice they would get in his face screaming to call him out. They then cooled down a little and told the player what was expected of him and how to do the assignment. If it carried over to a game they are/were in his face and, most often, said you're on the bench - next man in. We don't have that. We don't have a Kirby, a Spurrier or a Saban and that's why so many half hearted efforts....ALL OVER THE Field....that we see. Our kicker would have been benched a LONG time ago. Some of our offensive linemen would be sent down to the scout team. Majors would do that. I had a cousin that played there and that's what he said. Discipline starts with the head coach. We don't have discipline. It's not ok to watch the buy you're supposed to block go by you without effort. It's not ok to take wrong angles to tackle or not wrap up the legs instead of reaching with their hands. We are not holding players accountable and you see what we get.

You're getting too worked up over it. This was just an exhibition scrimmage. If the best players opt out, you should too, emotionally.

That's a poor way to look at it. Are you that way where you work? With your children? With yourself? Don't you want to be the best at what you do? He is tired of seeing half efforts from the coaches and players.

What are you talking about? None of us fans played. You're angry the coaches and players dont care about something that has become more like the orange and white game. If a team is not in the cfp, these are just scrimmages.

I do think a valid criticism of Heupel is that his teams are undisciplined and allow bad plays snowball into having a greater effect. He always needs his offense to overcompensate becuase of it and when they can't ut results in a loss. Hopefully Knowels brings a greater sense of discipline on the defensive side of the ball.
