Did I see these guys pushing one another on the sidelines or was it simply bumping into while trying to coach up the team.

Appeared that Huepel was pissed because Inge didn't notice 12 on the field for Illinois. Pushed him back and went out himself (kind of his job anyways but he doesn't pay attention during defense)

I think they were both discussing and agreeing on a missed penalty. If you didn't see the rest of the situation, it would look like they were arguing. ILL broke the huddle with 12, and the 12th slowly jogged off the field. Should have been auto penalty for breaking a huddle with too many men, and the refs didn't flag it. Hype immediately called over the ref and got into him after the appearance it was between Inge and Hype. Hype was just pushing Inge back so he wouldn't get a penalty.

Yeah, that was different.
Context we won’t have insight to around those actions.
I thought Hype was having a conversation w the officials around Illinois having a 12th man on the field and no call by the refs 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm not sure what everyone expects Heupel to do to the refs.....they make BS calls and he yells at them, cusses them out, gets in their face...

The refs are incompetent at best and calling BS calls because they resent having to run up and down the field so much in a hurry under CJH

I see people saying he never gets on refs and have no idea what they are watching.

Those "officials " during the game were definitely arbitrary, inconclusive & erratic. Illinois guilty of HOLDING on about every play. Tennessee played poor enough for it to NOT matter...but the incompetence of the zebras is unconscionable

Officiating is a difficult job, holding, pi, etc are hard to call consistently. Missing a pre-snap penalty where the "extra" man runs completely across the field, THAT is inexcusable.

That missed call was another big music city screw job. I have no idea why we even accept that bowl invitation. We’ve been screwed in that bowl game more times than not. Honestly need to start turning it down. I knew we’d get the short end of the stick before the game even started. That’s what happened when we play in that bs bowl
