Since Clemson fired Garret Riley Monday Halzle keeps coming up on lists I am seeing for potential replacements. I do not want to lose Halzle especially right now with all the talent coming in the 2026 class. I doubt Clemson can out spend us but can anyone think of a reason he might be tempted to leave? Clemson is a bit of a dumpster fire lately.

I thought he just renewed his contract?

Tennessee's Offensive Coordinator Joey Halzle signed a two-year contract extension in December 2025, securing him through the 2027 season and paying him $1.45 million annually. His buyout is 50% of the remaining contract. So Clemson would have to pay about 1.5 Million for the buyout and increase his salary. In the current world that is not huge.

Dabo had to fire someone. He is not going to take the blame for Clemson season.

Wish he would....he can go over there and teach Clemson how not to use the TE.
